NEED BOTH FILMED SHOWREEL SCENES AND AN EDITED SHOWREEL? THIS IS THE OPTION FOR YOU.

You’re caught in a catch-22 situation; you need a showreel to get work, but you need work to cut together a showreel.
Filming an acting showreel from scratch is a great solution to this problem. You can have your reel now and start moving forward!

• Once you’re booked in, I'll ask to see your current headshot and reel (if you have one!) and if you have any ideas about what you'd like to do for your scene(s).  If not, don't worry about it!  We'll figure it out. 

• Then we arrange a phone call. During this call, I'll ask you a ton of questions to get to know you and figure out your casting, so I can write more accurately for you. This conversation usually inspires ideas for your scenes and those ideas are all related to you in some way. We want to showcase who you are in your reel, to make it easy for agents to know what to put you up for and for CDs to cast you. 

• Afterwards, we go away and write your scripts.  Scripts are sent to you around 7 days before filming. Scripts are duologues or monologues of 1.5 pages in length. If you want to provide your own scripts, that’s fine!

• You are responsible for finding your props, costumes, and actors.

• I can provide a free-to-use location to film in, or you can book somewhere if you’re after something specific. It’s up to you!

• On the filming day, shooting takes around 3-4 hours per scene. We rehearse before filming a single frame; a scene is made in the rehearsal!

• We can shoot a maximum of two scenes per day. I like to keep my work quality high.

• Your scenes are edited, sound mixed, and colour graded. You will receive your full scenes in an HD digital format, ready for upload.

• Send me any additional clips you’d like to include in your edited showreel. Just forward me the links or digital files.

• Then I’ll do a first edit of your showreel; I recommend showreels are less than 3 minutes in length, and I won’t cut them longer than 5 minutes.

• I’ll send you this first showreel edit, so you can give me feedback. If you’d like any changes, I’ll do a second edit to implement them.

• Finally, you’ll receive your edited showreel in an HD digital format, ready for upload to the web.
